Boniface Gitau is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Garden of Hope Psychiatry. He holds a Master of Science in Nursing and brings over 19 years of experience in intensive care, cardiac care, emergency, and psychiatric nursing.
He provides compassionate, evidence-based care for children (ages 6 and up), adolescents, and adults, offering comprehensive evaluation and medication management for depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and PTSD. Boniface emphasizes a holistic approach that integrates mind, body, and spirit—drawing on principles of functional medicine to explore how lifestyle, nutrition, and environment impact mental health.
His practice is grounded in empathy and collaboration, creating a safe and supportive space where patients feel heard, valued, and empowered. Outside of his professional work, Boniface enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with his family, embracing the balance and connection he encourages in others.
